Our Primary Science Tuition Curriculum
Science is all around us. We strongly believe in adopting an inquiry-based approach to stimulate students’ curiosity about the world around them. Young children are naturally inquisitive and we hope to cultivate their curiosity and nurture them to be enthusiastic, self-motivated learners. The Edu Experience provides primary Science tuition classes in Singapore to Primary 2-6 students. With our specially designed and effective teaching approach, students are prepared for school examinations as our curriculum specialists follow MOE’s latest syllabus closely.

Children are naturally more engaged and excited during these sessions, leading to better learning outcomes. Primary 2 Science
At The Edu Experience, we believe in sharing our love for learning about the world around us from a young age. As we introduce scientific concepts and ideas, they are made fun, relatable and observable in everyday life. Every lesson has been distilled and simplified for our young learners so they are able to get an early exposure to the world of Science and we are able to spark their desire to seek out new knowledge using our own TEE CODE framework.

Accelerate Your Science Knowledge
Although P2 students are not introduced to Science in school yet, The Edu Experience offers a Science Introductory Programme to them that runs annually from August to October. This 12-week programme runs for one term and gives students a head start in understanding scientific concepts and ideas. With the interactive teaching approach at The Edu Experience and our CODE framework, our students are ready to take on Science as an official subject in P3.
Starting early also means that there is no homework nor examinations for Science. This allows The Edu Experience to focus on making lessons enjoyable and interesting for students to pique their curiosity. Students emerge as motivated learners who investigate and come up with innovative ways to solve problems presented to them.
Armed with a term’s worth of knowledge prior to the official introduction of Science in school, our students are able to stay ahead of their peers. Taking an interest in the subject itself also means that students are excited to learn and will internalise concepts well. They are then more likely to achieve better academic results.
Primary 3-4 Science
We introduce scientific concepts through fun and interactive lessons. Continuing our principle of inspiring future learners, we guide your child to ask the right questions and think critically. We engage each child through hands-on activities and provide opportunities for them to link scientific knowledge to the real world as well as ace their examinations.

Science Behind the Wonderful World Around Us
As students are introduced to Science for the first time in P3, it is crucial for them to have a strong foundation as these topics extend further to more complex branches of Science: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Our Science tuition curriculum follows the MOE syllabus closely. It is important for students to enjoy the process of learning these concepts so they can better build a strong understanding of core Science concepts, thus building a solid foundation and excelling in higher level Science as they progress through their primary school education.
At The Edu Experience, our Science tuition lessons aim to relate Science concepts to the real world so that students are engaged in learning and are able to connect their knowledge with the topics learnt. Students conduct hands-on experiments at our Science lab and are able to observe how Science is applied and brought to life which helps them in the retention of scientific terms, skills, and concepts.
Primary 5-6 Science
As your child gears up for the PSLE, we work on reinforcing concepts and answering techniques. Our passionate and experienced teachers identify strengths and weaknesses of each child and help them build confidence through topical revisions and practice papers. Through PSLE-format practices and timed mock exam papers, your child is given the opportunity to challenge and prepare themselves for school assessments.

Primary 5 & Primary 6 PSLE Science Tuition
Primary 5 is a crucial year for students as they are introduced to more difficult upper primary topics and have to start preparing for PSLE, one of the most important exams in Singapore that all students have to take. Science tuition for primary 5 students helps them not only with consolidating Science knowledge learnt throughout their primary years, but also internalising the tougher concepts.
Students are required to have a strong foundation in scientific knowledge and methodologies. At The Edu Experience, we help our students prepare for their Science examinations through the development of reasoning and analytical skills, decision and problem-solving skills and the flexibility to respond to different contexts. We adopt an inquiry-based teaching approach where students get to engage in hands-on learning, games and quizzes, and a variety of strategies in addition to written tests. Inquiry-based learning encourages students to make their own connections about what they have learnt and take ownership of their own education which enhances their understanding of the topics they are learning.
The Edu Experience’s worksheets are specially curated by our experienced teachers who are familiar with the MOE syllabus. Students are trained to analyse the different types of questions that will be asked. They are taught how to tackle and answer them skilfully using accurate scientific terms and concepts to score in both MCQ and open-ended sections.
PSLE Science can be challenging for students, and they might not be able to clarify their doubts during school hours in a classroom setting, with many students to only one teacher. A small class size at The Edu Experience allows our teachers and curriculum specialists to provide personalised attention and detailed explanations to students whenever needed, which helps students fully digest and comprehend concepts.
